Christmas Joy

Our second 'Phoenix Goes Pop' concert, this time in support of Acorns Children's Hospice, was held on Saturday 15th July at the Octagon, Edgbaston High School for Girls.

Our first concert for 2023, our Spring Concert in support of Acorns Children's Hospice, was held on  Saturday 25th March, at St George's Church in Edgbaston.

Our Christmas concert for 2022 was held at Town Hall, Birmingham on Sunday 11th December.  It was a joint concert with Midlands Hospitals' Choir, in support of Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity.

Following the success of our Summer concert in 2019, we returned to Routh Hall at Bromsgrove School on 17th July, to perform our long-awaited Phoenix Goes 'Pop' concert.

Our special concert to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee was a joint concert with Midlands Hospitals' Choir in support of Unicef.  It was held at the Ruddock Performing Arts Centre on Sunday 22nd May 2022.

Our Christmas concert 2021, "A Christmas Celebration for the NHS", was held at Town Hall, Birmingham on Sunday 12th December 2021.

This was a joint concert with Birmingham Canoldir Male Choir and Midlands Hospitals' Choir which raised more than £4000 for Birmingham Children's Hospital.  Our special guest soloist for this concert was "Doctor Opera" himself, Alex Aldren.  Following the concert, Alex commented ".....I had a wonderful time and your choir sounded absolutely glorious.  I would love to work with you and your team again soon, it was such a pleasure!"

Our Christmas concert in 2019, "Christmas Magic!" was held at Town Hall, Birmingham on Thursday 19th December 2019 when the audience were treated to a magical mix of Christmas carols and songs performed jointly with Birmingham Canoldir Male Choir, in aid of Birmingham St Mary's Hospice.

In June 2019 we were delighted to perform the Mozart Requiem, along with other sacred and secular songs, for our Summer Concert held in the Routh Hall at Bromsgrove School.
